v0.1.1

Improved HTTP Request Logging and Initial Platform Setup

New Features

  • Richer HTTP request logging — Each HTTP request now logs the method, URL, response status, and duration. This makes it significantly easier to monitor API activity, diagnose slow requests, and trace errors in production environments.

Initial Release Highlights (v0.1.0)

This marks the first public release of the LFX Changelog platform — a service for tracking and surfacing changelog information across LFX products.

Core Platform

  • Launched the foundational LFX Changelog application, establishing the base service architecture.
  • Replaced TypeScript interfaces with Zod schemas for stronger runtime data validation and improved type safety.
  • Added Swagger UI support, giving developers an interactive interface to explore and test the API directly from their browser.

Authentication & Configuration

  • Integrated Auth0 for authentication, with corrected configuration defaults to ensure reliable startup behavior across environments.

API & Data

  • Introduced product isActive filtering on the API, allowing consumers to retrieve only active products in changelog queries.
  • Added end-to-end (E2E) API tests using Playwright to validate critical user-facing workflows and catch regressions early.

Infrastructure & Deployment

  • Migrated the deployment pipeline from ECR/ECS to GHCR and Kubernetes, modernizing the release process and improving scalability.
  • Resolved Docker build issues, including a misconfigured COPY instruction in the Dockerfile.
  • Fixed database connectivity by constructing the database URL from individual Kubernetes environment variables, ensuring proper configuration in containerized deployments.

Security

  • Added a Trufflehog secret scanning workflow to automatically detect accidentally committed credentials or sensitive data in the codebase.
